The yen ta fo was delicious, but the tom yum was just so-so. The fish balls and shrimp balls were truly delicious. The fish balls were chewy, while the shrimp balls had a fragrant sesame oil aroma. The fried taro was even better when eaten dry. Parking was difficult to find.
Anyone who loves authentic, traditional Yaowarat-style fish balls must try this shop. Their fish balls and fish cakes are incredibly fragrant and flavorful. Their shrimp balls are also delicious. Importantly, the price is very reasonable considering the quality – only 50-60 baht per bowl.
The Yen Ta Fo (Thai noodle soup) was delicious, from the noodles and meatballs to the red fermented tofu broth. It was a little sweet, but still very tasty. The shrimp meatballs were so good I ordered some separately. The vermicelli noodles were incredibly soft – a must-try!
